Meet The Family
Carrying on Adam’s Legacy of Kindness
We created the Adam Malki Memorial Scholarship Fund to honour a seventeen-year life that was lived and filled with compassion, courage, community-mindedness and love.
Adam always led with his heart, from his interactions in the classroom to those on the field, and we remain committed to keeping that heart beating in the lives of others.
Through scholarship awards, community events and acts of kindness, we want to continue to transform our unimaginable loss into milestones of hope, purpose and impact.
We love you, Adam.

Heba Ahmed
Adam’s Mom, Founder of the Adam Malki Foundation
I am a proud mom to two extraordinary children, Adam and Amilya. My heart was always full because of them. Adam, my youngest, brought a light into our lives that was unmatched — a kindness so pure it touched everyone who met him. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and included, and as his mom, watching him live with such compassion was one of my life’s greatest joys. His kindness, inclusivity, and ability to lift others shaped not only the man he was becoming, but also the mother I became.
Adam was more than my son — he was a force of goodness in this world. He stood up for the underdogs, encouraged others to believe in themselves, and left people better than he found them. His sudden passing shattered our hearts, yet even in this unimaginable grief, I feel his presence guiding me every day.
The Adam Malki Foundation is my way of continuing to mother Adam — of turning heartbreak into hope. Every scholarship, every opportunity we give, and every young life we touch carries a piece of his spirit forward. My mission is to ensure that his kindness never fades and that his legacy continues to inspire for generations to come.
I am the woman Adam made stronger, the mother he made proud, and now the soul who carries his legacy with every breath. I am broken without him, yet I am still standing because I am his. Being Adam’s mom will forever be the greatest honour of my life.

Rachid Malki
Adam’s Dad, Co-Founder of the Adam Malki Foundation
I am Adam’s proud dad. From the moment he came into this world, I knew he was special. Adam had a heart that led with kindness and a spirit that drew people in. Whether it was on the football field, in the classroom, or just walking through life, he gave people a reason to believe in themselves.
As his father, I had the privilege of watching him grow into a young man who cared deeply, worked hard with me in our family business, and lived with integrity. His passing has been the hardest thing I have ever faced, but his values — kindness, inclusion, resilience — continue to guide me.
The Adam Malki Foundation is my way of ensuring that who Adam was, and the way he lived, will never be forgotten. Every opportunity we create for young people is a reflection of the life he led and the love he gave so freely. Being Adam’s dad is, and will always be, the greatest privilege of my life.

Amilya Malki
Adam’s Sister, Co-Founder and Advocate for Adam Malki Foundation
I am Adam’s proud older sister, and for as long as I can remember, he was my best friend, my partner-in-crime, and my greatest source of laughter. Adam had a rare gift — he could walk into any room and instantly make it brighter. His kindness was never performative; it was who he was at his core. He noticed people others overlooked, included those who felt left out, and had a way of making everyone feel like they mattered.
Losing him has left a space in my life that can never be filled. But my love for him, and my pride in the person he was, give me strength. Through the Adam Malki Foundation, I honour the brother who inspired me to see the good in people and to be the good for others. Every scholarship awarded and every act of kindness done in his name feels like another thread in the tapestry of his lasting impact.
Adam will always be my little brother — the one who made me laugh until I cried, and whose love will forever be woven into who I am.
